As part of the expansion of its international company network, Cetecom has recently opened a permanent representative office in Japan.

The establishment of the new office in Tokyo confirms Cetecom's commitment to support Japanese manufacturers of mobile communications devices and the wireless industry in general.

"The establishment of a permanent representation in Japan will provide local support to our Japanese customers who are currently testing their devices in our European or American facilities".

"Our main goal is to provide maximum quality of service to our Japanese clients both technically and in terms of logistics".

"By working together with the most advanced companies in the field, Cetecom is developing and adding new services to its portfolio which are directed not only to terminal manufacturers but also to network operators and solution providers", says Dr Klaus Matkey, Managing Director of Cetecom.

The Japanese office is the fourth Cetecom representation on the Asian continent.

In the recent years, operations in the People's Republic of China, South Korea and Taiwan have also been set up.

"This new office will also be important to facilitate and promote our dialogue with the Japanese industry, including authorities and other relevant bodies".

"It is our intention to work towards improving the exchange of experiences and information between Japan and other regions where Cetecom has been offering testing services for more than a decade now".

"The progressive opening of the Japanese regulatory environment combined with the gradual involvement of manufacturers in GSM, besides 3G, has been a key factor for the development of our activities in Japan", explains Managing Director Dr Harald Ansorge.
