OTA performance testing comes to Europe
Cetecom has commissioned a second test system for over the air (OTA) performance testing according to the CTIA requirements.
The new Application-enabler Conformance Toolset (ACT) uses the Anite SAT configuration and provides a base for validated testing for MMS as well as the option of future enhancement for browser testing (WAP2).
The MMS conformance test is among the first to be developed to the OMA (Open Mobile Alliance) requirements, and is instrumental in delivering the required functionality within the MMS ETS (Enabler Test Specification).
This investment marks a further step in the systematic expansion of Cetecom's service portfolio towards the 3G technologies: Cetecom customers now have access to a second test platform which enables tests of every MMS implementation to ensure that a MMS-capable terminal reaches the standards required by GCF and PTCRB.
