Conformance system expands French GSM testing

Cetecom has installed a new Rohde and Schwarz TS8950G conformance test system at its GSM test centre at Buc near Paris.

To meet increasing demands from the French mobile communications industry for comprehensive consulting and testing services on location, Cetecom has installed a new Rohde and Schwarz TS8950G conformance test system at its GSM test centre at Buc near Paris.

Since its opening five years ago, the test centre in France has been continuously enlarged with state-of-the-art technical equipment.

The new test platform will now give the local mobile communications industry the opportunity to have their products tested to national and international standards and certified for the world market faster and even more conveniently.

The range of services which Cetecom is offering in Buc covers the full range of tests required by GCF and PTCRB in the areas of radio and protocol tests, audio and the testing of radiated spurious emissions.

GSM 850/900/1800/1900 are covered as well as SIM Application Toolkit, WAP, Edge, GPRS/E-GPRS and AMR.

In addition to the conformance tests for mobile communications, Cetecom France is also offering qualification tests for mobile communications and smart card terminals.
