Cellular test service adds PoC and DARP

A Cetecom product story

Cetecom has added PoC conformance testing and certification and DARP test cases to its service portfolio to meet GCF and PTCRB requirements.

Cetecom has added PoC (push-to-talk over cellular) conformance testing and certification and DARP (downlink advanced receiver performance) test cases to its service portfolio to meet GCF and PTCRB requirements.

For the execution of PoC conformance tests, Cetecom has upgraded one of its state-of-the-art test solutions: the Setcom S-CAT 5020 test platform is now able to perform the OMA PoC v1.0 test cases.

Thanks to this, Cetecom is once again the first test laboratory to offer conformance testing for the latest application enabler (AE) introduced by GCF/PTCRB.

At the beginning of 2005 Cetecom became the first test laboratory to offer MMS conformance testing.

The latest expansion of the testing capabilities vastly improves the existing comprehensive AE conformance test capabilities of Cetecom.

Currently, four different testing platforms enable Cetecom to fulfil all AE conformance testing requirements for GCF and PTCRB.

Furthermore, Cetecom has invested in the expansion of its 2G/2.5G conformance test capacities by the addition of DARP test cases to one of its quad-band Rohde and Schwarz TS8950 test systems.

Customers can access these testing services for PoC and DARP at Cetecom's mobile communications test centre in Feldkirchen near Munich (Germany).
