OTA performance testing comes to Europe
Cetecom has commissioned a second test system for over the air (OTA) performance testing according to the CTIA requirements.
This change of name makes allowance for the different business models of the companies: in recent years AT4 wireless (previously Cetecom Spain) evolved beyond testing and certification activities.
The company has also become a specialist in developing and integrating test equipment for different mobile and wireless communications technologies, whereas the portfolio of the international Cetecom network is focused on independent consulting, testing, certification and international approval handling for mobile communications and wireless products.
Despite complete organisational and economic independence from each other, both companies have co-operated successfully in the past.
This fertile relationship will be continued for the benefit of both companies' customers in the future: the Cetecom network has, for instance, recently expanded its test equipment by incorporating a MINT 2G/3G test platform - one of the test systems developed and integrated by AT4 wireless.
