RF platform tests GSP accuracy

A Cetecom product story
Edited by the Electronicstalk editorial team Apr 25, 2008

From May 2008 customers will be able to test the A-GPS features of their devices at Cetecom on the TP86 Factsware RF conformance test platform.

Cetecom has added the TP86 to the Factsware RF conformance test platform family.

The RF performance test cases which are required by GCF and PTCRB for assisted global positioning systems (A-GPS) have been implemented so that this new A-GPS test solution enables testing according to the TS 34.171 and TS 51.010-1 3GPP test specifications.

Fail-safe components minimise downtime.

An integrated atomic clock provides very precise time, which is crucial for A-GPS.

Cetecom has decided to equip its own mobile communications testing facilities with the Factsware based A-GPS test solution.

From the beginning of May 2008, customers will be able to test the A-GPS features of their devices at Cetecom on this new platform.
