Jussel joins Celoxica after over 9 years at Mentor Graphics, where he was most recently Director of Global Programs for Mentor Consulting, the professional services division of Mentor Graphics.
During his time at Mentor Jussel served in a variety of roles, including chip design, applications engineering, engineering management and marketing.
He was responsible for the development and launch of various EDA infrastructure and methodology products delivered in conjunction with services.
In his final post he was responsible for worldwide marketing and business development for Mentor Consulting.
Prior to Mentor, Jussel held design-engineering positions with GEC Plessey Semiconductors and Hughes Aircraft.
Vitucci comes to Celoxica with over 17 years of experience in the electronics industry including chip design, engineering management and managing design services businesses.
A founder of Advanced Digital Designs (ADD), a consulting firm based near Chicago offering design services and IP, Vitucci profitably built a business that successfully completed chip design projects for many of the world's leading electronics companies.
In August, 2000, Vitucci sold ADD to Dauphin Technology, a maker of set top boxes, and continued there as Vice President of Sales for Product and Design Services.
Prior to ADD, Vitucci managed worldwide business development for ASIC design services at Mentor Graphics, and was an engineering manager for Motorola.
"Celoxica is already a technology leader in system-level design tools", said Jeff Jussel.
"Using our experience, we look forward to the challenge of leading the EDA industry and the design community into the era of software-compiled system design".
