The 100 winners will be unveiled at the Venture Market Europe 2005 conference, 12th-14th April 2005 in London.

Dedicated to celebrating the most exciting private European companies, this three-day conference will feature keynote speeches, lively dialogue and presentations by the CEOs of the Red Herring 100 Europe private companies.

"The quantity and depth of submissions", said Joel Dreyfuss, Editor-in-Chief of Red Herring, "for the list of the Red Herring 100 Europe shows that imagination and creativity are alive and well in the global world of technology".

Finalists are currently being evaluated to determine the 100 companies that embody innovation, technology, and strategy.

The Red Herring editorial team rigorously evaluates companies submitted for the following characteristics: technology, financing, marketing, sales, service, leadership and business strategy.

Companies selected to the Red Herring 100 Europe award programme will present their business model and technology at the conference.

The three-day intimate event will focus on new technologies and predictions, along with keynotes and round table discussions.
