Parker brings experience to bear

One of the UK's leading manufacturers of printed circuit boards has appointed an experienced industry professional as its new Technical Sales Manager.

One of the UK's leading manufacturers of printed circuit boards has appointed an experienced industry professional as its new Technical Sales Manager.

Tom Parker, who has 28 years experience of the PCB industry, has joined CC Electronics as the company gears up for major expansion in the domestic and European markets.

The newly created customer-centric position will help to secure the company's position in the top five PCB manufacturers in the UK, following the acquisition of Cranford Circuits by Cheshire Circuits and the formation of CC Electronics Europe earlier this year.

Parker will oversee the development of the company's customer base in southern England and Wales, using both his technical and sales skills to ensure the total satisfaction of existing accounts and the acquisition of new ones.

"This is a crucial year for CC Electronics and Tom will be central to making it a successful one", says Wendy Heyes, Sales Director.

"The acquisition of Cranford Circuits has brought some fantastic opportunities our way so it's vital that we have all the right people on board".

"We have a varied customer base, from major blue-chip electronics companies to smaller manufacturers, and Tom's first challenge will be to explain to customers how the business has changed and how we will continue to meet their needs - only better and more efficiently.

He brings with him a wealth of experience and I'm looking forward to working closely with him".

Parker's previous experience includes working for DDI Tewksbury and ICL in a technical capacity.

Prior to that, he was European Product Manager for Morton International - a worldwide supplier of chemicals to the PCB industry.

Parker is married with two daughters and lives in Wilmslow, Cheshire.
