Last year Cetecom was the world leader for qualifying Bluetooth devices The multinational network claimed a market share of 25% from the total number of Bluetooth devices qualified during 2002

Cetecom has devoted considerable resources to Bluetooth wireless technology since its inception.

The company's market success is supported by an extended network of six Bluetooth Qualification Bodies (BQBs) and three recognised Bluetooth Qualification Test Facilities (BQTFs), covering all radio, protocol and profile conformance testing.

The company's facilities are located in Malaga, Spain (two BQBs and one BTQF), in California, USA (two BQBs and one BQTF), Saarbrucken, Germany (one BQB and one BQTF) and Essen, Germany (one BQB).

In recent years Cetecom has qualified a wide range of different Bluetooth applications and profiles, including components, computer accessories, mobile phones, handheld devices and other systems.
