Cetecom's MINT mobile communications integrated tester has recently been validated for W-CDMA protocol and RF testing.

Cetecom's MINT mobile communications integrated tester has recently been validated for W-CDMA protocol testing according to 3GPP TS 34.123-3 and W-CDMA RF testing according to 3GPP TS 34.121 following the GCF certification criteria.

The MINT Protocol Tester is based on the official TTCN developed by the 3GPP Terminals Working Group, TSG T1.

This achievement is one of the most important milestones to make the MINT testers the most complete solution for mobile terminal manufacturers, reference design houses, network operators and test laboratories in order to perform 2G and 3G conformance, performance and debugging testing with a powerful, flexible and validated test system.

Juan Carlos Mora, Product Manager at Cetecom Spain said: "With this important milestone, we strengthen our position as advanced technology provider within the test systems suppliers group not only for 2G, but for the growing 3G market as well".

"By adding 3G validated tests to the MINT platform, Cetecom Spain has unveiled again its excellent development capabilities in a record time, and furthermore, proving that we are following up the technology trend closely".

"MINT family of products is becoming more effective, flexible and competitive, being now a dual-mode (GSM-UMTS) integrated solution and meeting the exigent demand of the mobile communications testing industry".
