AT4 wireless has been qualified to offer UTRAN testing services according PTCRB requirements.

AT4 wireless has been approved as UTRAN (UMTS Terrestrial Radio Access Network) qualified laboratory by PTCRB (PCS Type Certification Review Board), enhancing its portfolio adding new platforms to complete its already extensive range of testing services.

AT4 wireless can offer now GSM/GPRS/Edge, WCDMA, HSxPA, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, WiMAX, RFID and other certification services to its clients.

This is another milestone of AT4 wireless' strategy to consolidate its position as a leading testing laboratory for wireless and mobile communication technologies and to offer a "one-stop shopping service" for the wireless and mobile communications industry.

This qualification enables AT4 wireless to provide 2G, 2.5G, 3G and 3.5G protocol, SIM and RF conformance testing to manufacturers with products having 1900/850 and/or FDD bands II and V and intending to sell their devices in the North American market.

It completes AT4 wireless' portfolio as our customers willing to sell their devices in the European market can already use our services for 2G, 2.5G, 3G and 3.5G for conformance testing (radio frequency, protocols, audio and SIM) according to the Global Certification Forum (GCF).

"It is our commitment with PTCRB to be continuously investing in our laboratory to provide a first line and complete support to our clients, who see us not only as an innovative laboratory but also as a company with strong commitment to the most demanded certification schemes in the world", says Oscar Castaneda, Mobile Communication Lab Manager at AT4 wireless.

"PTRCB is critical for us and many of our customers and we are more than glad to offer this new testing service".
