Cherry's G83-14000 fingertip ID board with integrated fingerprint sensor, USB hub and PC/SC smart card reader enables secure, password-free log-on and authentication.

The launch of Cherry's G83-14000 fingertip ID board with integrated fingerprint sensor, USB hub and PC/SC smart card reader enables secure, password-free log-on and authentication.

Protecting data against unauthorised access, the capacitive fingerprint sensor offers a resolution of 513dot/in with a PC/SC 1.0 and Cardman 2020-compliant smart card terminal.

Optional smart card reader connects to the PC via a USB cable.

There are also two downstream ports for the connection of additional devices.

Available with board is the M-4000 fingertip ID three-buttoned mouse.

Benefiting from a low acceptance error rate and a highly developed recognition algorithm, registration and user-friendly software, devices offer protection against manipulation through an intelligent memory system.

Adjustable authentication (one-to-one) enables the distribution of access rights without risk.

Cherry's 14000 series of keyboards are suited for use with FlexIMI biometric authentication software by Flexagonal Systems, partner of Cherry Electrical Products and market leader in biometric identity and access management.
