Small three-button wireless mouse brings flexibility to laptop users, particularly during prolonged use.

Cherry's new Passenger mouse is a small three-button wireless notebook device that brings flexibility to laptop users, particularly during prolonged use, such as on long journeys, where an external mouse makes working much more comfortable Even when not connected to the notebook, the Passenger, using 27MHz technology, is able to maintain contact for signal transmission via the USB receiver contained in an internal compartment under an easy to open flap lid

Fitted with two AA batteries, Passenger will function for a number of weeks at constant use, since after just a short break in use the reading rate of the optical sensor is reduced, cutting the energy consumption.

A red light in the mouse wheel warns when power is low so batteries may be changed before they are fully discharged.

When not in use, the USB receiver is stored neatly inside the Passenger and switches off automatically to avoid accidental power use.
