Tape sticks sinks without fasteners
The latest thermally conductive adhesive tape from Chomerics can significantly simplify PCB assembly by eliminating thermal grease and mechanical fasteners.
Specifically designed to meet the IEEE1101.10 EMC front panel reference design, the gaskets are available in both beryllium copper and stainless steel.
Strips are composed of individual fingers that ensure continuous contact between mating surfaces, even along irregular edges.
The new parts can be supplied in standard CompactPCI lengths of 3 and 6U or in easily trimmed 16in strips.
The gasket design allows quick and easy assembly and removal from the faceplate edge, while still being robust enough for use in wiping applications.
Its low closure force minimises loading pressure for smooth single and multiple card installation and removal.
The two gasket profiles available fit most standard CompactPCI form factor faceplate designs.
Beryllium copper versions are available with a choice of finishes: bright nickel, bright tin and clean and bright.
