Chrontel has customised its extensive product line to support Intel's new Centrino mobile technology Chrontel's popular TV-out (TV encoder), DVI (digital video interface) and LVDS (low voltage differential signalling) devices are used to drive the flat panel displays and external video outputs on millions of desktop and notebook PCs sold every year

Intel's Centrino mobile technology includes a new mobile processor microarchitecture and wireless capability that is specifically designed for notebook PCs.

Centrino mobile technology extends battery life, enables thinner and lighter form factors, and offers outstanding mobile performance.

To support PC designers using Centrino mobile technology, Chrontel has developed new software drivers for the company's extensive video IC product line.

PC designers will now be able to select the most appropriate Chrontel video chip for their new Centrino-based notebook products.

Chrontel has customised the software support for the company's most popular video devices: the CH7007/8, CH7009/10, CH7011, CH7017 and CH7019.

All these popular video interface products will now be 100% Centrino-compatible.
