Civcom initially established the M-DCM line with a wide range offering of single- and multichannel DCF replacement modules.

Based on multiple configurations of manageable dispersion compensation solutions, the M-DCM modules provide an advance way to enhance fibre capacity with up to 40Gbit/s datarate.

Servicing submarine and terrestrial applications, the M-DCM subsystem provides a wide variety of inline and pre- and postcompensation.

Civcom is now adding to its thriving product line the "Instant Play" subsystem.

M-DCM Instant Play offers a range of products based on multiple configurations of manageable dispersion compensation solutions which function as DCF replacements.

The M-DCM subsystem is currently available in two shelf sises to fit seamlessly into existing networks and to accommodate a wide variety of installation and upgrade options.

The M-DCM DPU is a 1U shelf DFC stand-alone replacement for small number of metro DWDM lines networks allowing any combination of up to two single- and/or multichannel ports.

The M-DCM MPU is a scalable 3U architecture, allows up to 16 independent ports to be managed as a single network element.

With remote manageability of dispersion via IP or SNMP protocol and RS232 maintenance port, it can be used for multiple applications as multiple- and/or single-channel for inline and/or pre- and postcompensation.

The M-DCM subsystem offers cost-effective wide solutions for 10G RZ, 10G NRZ, 40G DPSK, 40GPSBT submarine and terrestrial applications.

The company will showcase its expanded manageable dispersion compensation solution portfolio under the theme: "Instant Play M-DCM" at the Civcom booth (Stand 1529) at OFC/NFOEC 2007 Exposition, 27th to 29th March 2007 in California.
