Safety testing explained on CD
Free CD features comprehensive technical information, specifications and details about Clare's range of electrical safety testing instrumentation.
Operation of the new instrument complies with the recently introduced EN50191 electrical safety testing standard.
The unit is capable of carrying out AC or DC flash testing and insulation testing in both open and closed area test environments.
User-friendly controls and programmable options for establishing test voltages, ramping times, leakage limits and other parameters allow complex test sequences to be generated safely and effectively.
Patented test codes allow simple, fast and repetitive testing and the unit is also able to read bar codes for the high-speed identification of products and appropriate test parameters.
Specialist software and a large capacity internal database gives the HAL tester the ability to store test details and results against individual equipment serial numbers.
Test reports can be downloaded directly to a PC or printer for the generation of complete test data records.
Product-specific bar codes can also be printed direct from the tester.
The HAL flash tester has selectable 50 or 60Hz output frequencies and can be operated from 90-270V and 50-60Hz mains supply.
The regulated output test voltage is independent of line and load fluctuations.
Fully isolated HT outputs provide maximum user protection.
Incorporating a stylish new case design for space efficient bench testing, operation is achieved with four programmable soft keys and a rotary switch used in association with a large graphical display.
The HAL flash tester meets all of the requirements of the various British and European standards in relation to high voltage testing and incorporates all of the latest safety standards in keeping with IEC1010.
In addition, HAL tests to a wide variety of international product standards. Request a free brochure from Clare Instruments ...
