Safety tester reaches new levels of
automation

Clare Instruments' new Elite 2 brings enhanced levels of automation and control to electrical safety testing for manufacturers of electrical and electronic equipment.

Clare Instruments' new Elite 2 brings enhanced levels of automation and control to electrical safety testing for manufacturers of electrical and electronic equipment With eight external analogue control ports and eight digital ports, the dual-voltage Elite 2 can act as a PLC controller with automatic control of programmable test sequences for maximum efficiency, high-speed testing on large volume production lines

The high performance tester includes the ability to power the device under test using a programmable power source up to 280V at 10A.

It incorporates hi-pot, insulation, earth bond, leakage and load tests as part of a full suite of 11 separate safety checks - all user configurable to the exact specifications of the product under test.

Single-button operation enables test engineers to create programmed test sequences for specific products quickly and easily - with test specifications applied precisely and test measurements made accurately.

Powerful integral PC software also enables test data to be stored and/or transferred to standard MS Office programs for fully traceable records of test results.

The unit's data storage capability can also be used to implement statistical analysis (SPC) on test results as part of quality control programmes.

The Elite 2 meets national and international regulations for all manufacturers carrying out electrically safety and functional testing of products. Request a free brochure from Clare Instruments ...
