DFM optimisation claims complete coverage
Clear Shape Technologies has announced OutPerform, the first complete and silicon correlated electrical DFM analysis and optimisation product.
The EE Times ACE Award for Design Team of the Year recognises a group of innovators whose system or IC-level design made a significant contribution to the furtherance of technology and whose project management abilities were creative, efficient and inspiring.
"Clear Shape Technologies' OutPerform design team delivered a complete product for variability analysis and optimisation of sub-90nm technologies, using first-of-its-kind design techniques to improve performance and yield", said Brian Fuller, Editor in Chief of EE Times.
OutPerform enables designers using sub-90nm processes to optimise and control the impact of lithography, mask, etch, RET, OPC, and CMP effects on their chip parameters.
OutPerform identifies timing and leakage parametric hotspots for violations due to systematic variations and produces timing optimisation directives that drive the place and route tools.
"Clear Shape is honoured that its OutPerform design team was chosen by a blue-ribbon panel of judges as the winner of this prestigious award from such a highly esteemed publication as EE Times", stated Atul Sharan, Clear Shape's President and CEO.
