Available now from Commell, the LE-565 is a 5.25in embedded fanless miniboard that meets requirements for enterprise and residential network applications This single board consists the highly efficient VIA Eden 1GHz processor, drawing a maximum power of 5W with the VIA PadLock Security Engine and VIA CN700 Enhanced digital media chipset, featuring a robust shared memory architecture and support for high bandwidth DDR400 memory, combined with a VIA VT8237R+ South Bridge, including native Serial ATA and V-RAID, with support for RAID 0, RAID 1 and RAID 0+1

Peripherals also include a Mini-PCI slot to accommodate power-hungry expansion cards.
The LE-565 offers a comprehensive range of storage, multimedia and connectivity options, including UltraDMA IDE, six USB 2.0 interfaces and four COM ports.
The board supports AC97 Audio, VIA UniChrome VGA and LVDS interfacing.
A CompactFlash interface allows the use of solid-state storage.
