The LV-66A Mini-ITX motherboard uses the 1.5GHz VIA C7 processor and VIA CN896 IGP chipset.

Available now from Commell, the LV-66A Mini-ITX motherboard uses the 1.5GHz VIA C7 processor and VIA CN896 IGP chipset, and is designed to meet the needs of digital entertainment devices, POS equipment and ATMs The board's architecture features high-bandwidth VIA Ultra V-Link communication technology between the chipset's North and South Bridges at 533Mbyte/s

A dedicated CRT interface is provided, with options for additional video ports such as DVI or LVDS.

This provides customers the ability to tailor the CN896 for use with flat panel displays, a wide variety of LCD panels and DVI monitors.

The VIA CN896 chipset also features a DirectX 9.0 3D accelerator for high graphics performance and a 2D accelerator for high-productivity applications.

Through the onboard VT8251 South Bridge, the LV-66A offers a comprehensive range of interactive storage, multimedia and connectivity options, including: Serial ATA with RAID, UltraDMA IDE, eight USB 2.0 ports, two gigabit LAN interfaces and two COM ports.

The board also supports HD audio with an optional CompactFlash socket on the solder side for solid-state disks.
