Solderability tester takes in smallest SMDs
The industry benchmark Must solderability tester has been improved to accommodate the enhanced test accuracy needs demanded by the smallest surface mount devices.
This approach to product development means that it is able to supply exactly what customers need rather than simply trying to sell products from a portfolio that might not be entirely suitable for the customer.
The HumiSeal range of products has been developed and tested to ensure that it exceeds the current needs of the customer base, as well as those of the future, and includes: acrylics - one of the most widely used materials available, fast drying, easy to apply and especially easy to rework; urethanes designed to offer excellent chemical resistance properties; silicones designed to protect electronics in high temperature (above 150C) applications; water-based products for ease of use and low VOC emissions, available in both acrylic and urethane chemistries; epoxy materials offering outstanding chemical resistance; synthetic rubber materials offering extremely durable and flexible coating properties; UV curable materials with very low VOC emissions, fast processing speeds, outstanding chemical resistance and excellent thermal endurance; and aerosols available in water based, acrylic or urethane coatings for convenient application (ideal for prototyping and low volume production).
Most recently, HumiSeal has engineered and launched a revolutionary new UV curing product, UV40.
HumiSeal UV40 was developed to be easy to process and resistant to cracking under thermal cycling, offering manufacturers a genuine alternative to solvent-based coatings, without any of the problems normally associated with this type of material.
For the first time, high-volume users in market sectors such as automotive and white goods/consumer electronics can now gain access to the popular UV curable coating class, taking advantage of the combination of rapid cure speed, high level of processing ease and thermal cycling resistance, never before achieved with UV materials.
Phil Kinner, European Sales and Technical Manager for HumiSeal Europe, commented: "Over the years, we have listened to what our customer base wanted and applied this to our R and D programme".
"I firmly believe that this approach has played a significant part in the company's success over the last 50 years".
"Going forward we see no reason to change this approach and are looking forward to marking the company's anniversary with yet another innovative new product launch scheduled for later in the year".
