A Contax product story
Edited by the Electronicstalk editorial team May 3, 2004

Contax has won the prestigious Speedline European distributor of the year award.

Contax has won the prestigious Speedline European distributor of the year award.

Announced earlier this month, the award is presented to the distributor providing outstanding quality service and support to its customers.

Contax has been working with Speedline since 2001, and offers a wide range of its PCB assembly products at its operations in the UK, Ireland and Benelux.

As one of Speedline's primary distributors, Contax's staff undergo regular, extensive product training to ensure that they are kept fully up to date on all new enhancements and product lines.

Contax is therefore able to offer a comprehensive service: from consultancy, through commissioning and troubleshooting to ongoing service and maintenance.

Commented Bruce Seaton, Regional Sales Manager at Speedline Technologies: "We are delighted to present this award to Contax in recognition of its services to Speedline".

"This further demonstrates our excellent partnership".

"We manufacture world-class products for the electronics assembly and semiconductor industries, whilst Contax provides the front line interface with our customers".

"Contax is one of the most respected suppliers of automation equipment in Europe", he continued.

"All their personnel have a high level of technical excellence and many have literally decades of experience in the PCB assembly market".

"This enables them to combine their in-depth knowledge of Speedline's products with overall industry expertise, resulting in the best possible consultancy and support for our customers".

In response, Contax Managing Director Jan O'Connor said: "We would like to thank Speedline for this award".

"As independent suppliers, we have assessed all the relevant offerings and firmly believe that Speedline's products provide the best in performance and technical innovation".

"We therefore look forward to a long and mutually rewarding relationship".
