New name in wire processing
Sibos has now officially amalgamated with the automation division of Komax to become Komax Systems.

Sibos has over 30 years' experience in assembly technology, and is a well-respected provider of customised production solutions.
It was acquired by the Komax Group in 1998 but, until now, continued to trade under its existing name.
Contax has been supplying Sibos equipment for the last six years, and was its largest distributor in both 2003 and 2004, with particular success in the automotive and medical device industries.
Komax Group is one of the giants in the wire processing industry, and has been represented by Contax in the UK for more than 22 years.
Its products range from cutting and stripping machines to complex, fully automated assembly lines for high volume production and custom-built solutions.
In 2003, Komax reported a turnover of CHF 222.2 million, with over 700 employees and a presence in 45 countries worldwide.
"This rebranding of Sibos under the Komax name will clarify the situation and further strengthen the brand", said Phil Shorten, Director, Cable Preparation at Contax.
"We see it as a significant step forward to combine Sibos' innovation and bespoke capabilities with Komax's manufacturing expertise and distribution network".
