Overmoulding protects cables and assemblies
The Werner Wirth overmoulding machine operates with both cable preparation and PCB assembly equipment, moulding strain reliefs, connector shells and grommets onto electrical cables.
Automatic crimper handles ultrafine wires
The Komax Gamma 255 is a fully automatic crimping machine for top-quality processing of ultrafine wires.
It is particularly suited to the 3D examination of sensors, complex mechatronic samples, micro-electronic components and all forms of material samples, such as: synthetic materials, ceramics, composite materials and rock samples.
The very compact system consists of a granite based CT-construction with a 160 kV high-power nanofocus X-ray tube from Phoenix X-ray and a special digital detector to reach a voxel resolution of less than 500 nm (0.5 micro-m).
The fully digital detector has 5 Megapixels resolution and a measurement range expansion for the highest possible resolution.
The nanotom can examine samples with diameters up to 120 mm (4.7 inches) and a weight up to 1 kg (2.2 pounds).
The special door construction and advanced sample fixture enables simple and precise positioning of the samples.
The nanotom comes with Phoenix X-ray's new CT-software, datos-x.
This software provides easy and intuitive operation and requires only minimal training.
The highly efficient software ensures the best image quality and volume reconstruction at all times, whilst an available PC cluster provides further reduction of reconstruction times.
Commented Mike Rapson, Managing Director at Contax: "The new nanotom is ideal for any organisation that requires three dimensional failure analysis, and process control of electronic devices and interconnections, such as semiconductor solder joints and crimps".
"Phoenix X-ray has a well deserved reputation as manufacturer of high quality, high performance X-ray equipment".
"The nanotom has the pedigree and power to be yet another best seller in its range", he said.
