Medical switcher boasts high reliability
The SMM200 medical grade switching power supply is the latest addition to the ever-expanding Eagle Series line of catalogue medical products.
The SMM200 medical grade switching power supply is the latest addition to the ever-expanding Eagle Series line of catalogue medical products.
The compact 114 x 216 x 43mm power supply delivers up to 175/200W of total power dependent on output voltage/current combinations and options.
It features active power factor correction to minimise input harmonic distortion.
The SMM200 operates on wide global input mains of 85-264V AC.
The supply delivers its full rated output of 200W with optional fan cover assembly or 150 litre/min of system airflow.
This hi-rel switcher is ideally suited for a wide variety of medical applications including: medical diagnostic devices, patient monitors, ophthalmic surgical equipment and respiratory systems where reliable power is critical.
The unit also features high current auxiliary outputs with voltages from 5 to 24V as well as overload, overvoltage and thermal protection.
It includes a built-in Class B EMI filter, power fail, DC good, remote sense, and remote inhibit.
The new SMM200 model has an operating temperature range of 0 to 50C without derating and can function up to 70C by derating the output 2.5%/C.
It meets IEC601-1-2 for EMC and IEC1000-4-2, level 3 for ESD.
The SMM200 complies with worldwide medical safety and performance standards from UL, CSA and TUV.
Available now, pricing begins at $225.00 in OEM quantities.
