Measuring less than the size of a credit card, the new medically approved GSM15 from Condor DC power supplies will suit medical equipment applications, such as monitors or pumps, where an ultrasmall power supply is needed The GSM15 family of 15W AC/DC supplies is available with 5, 12, 15, 24 and 28V outputs and a wide input range of from 90 to 264V AC

Fully designed and tested for use in medical equipment, the supplies are certified to comply with the requirements of UL2601, CSA22.2 No 601, IEC 601-1 (1988) and EN60601:1990.

Leakage current under normal conditions Class 1 grounding is as low as 25uA, with Class 2 grounding at 132V AC and rising to only 84uA with Class 1 grounding at 264V AC.

EMC meets EN61000 level 3 and conducted emissions meet EN55011.

The GSM15 supply will operate at full power over a range of 0 to 50C, although it will operate at temperatures up to 70C with 50% derating.

It will achieve 15W with convection cooling and 18W is possible with 150LFM of air.

They are fully protected against short circuit and overload with an onboard AC fuse line as standard.
