Supplies deliver up to 1000W for medical systems
High-power single-output power supplies are designed specifically for medical system applications.
SL Power Electronics Corporation, the company established following the merger of Condor DC Power and Ault, has released a new series of high-power single-output power supplies designed specifically for medical system applications.
With power outputs ranging from 600 to 1000W, the GPMP series provides outputs from 24 to 48V from a universal 90 to 264V AC input.
All models feature power factor correction (PFC) circuitry as standard enabling the units to fully meet IEC1000-3-2 over the input range and efficiencies greater than 80% at full rated load are possible.
All models are fully medically approved to meet the requirements of UL/EN/IEC 60601/1 and CSA22.2 60601/1.
Housed in a compact 12.5 x 4.8 x 2.5in case, the GPMP series supplies use either a DIN connector or terminal block for connection and offer a range of standard features including overload protection and thermal shutdown.
A standby output provides a +12V output at 0.25A.
Typical leakage current at 264VAC is between 160 to 350uA, depending on fault conditions.
Built-in EMI filtering allow the GPMP units to meet all relevant EMC requirements and operating temperature range is from 0 to 50C at full rated output power.
Two cooling fans are integrated into the front panel.
