Open-frame PSUs deliver 200W with PFC
Measuring less than 1U high, the FDA family of open-frame power supplies has the ability to power loads up to 200W.
Measuring less than 1U high, the FDA family of open-frame power supplies has the ability to power loads up to 200W.
Output voltages are available from 1.8 to 48V DC.
Ideal for a wide range of applications, the FDA 200 is power-factor corrected, (compliant with EN61000-3-2) and passes conducted emissions (EN55022).
"Ault engineers designed the FDA 200 power convertor to meet all the latest safety and emissions standards, including the EMC and Low Voltage Directives", said Gino Vieira, Design Engineer, Ault.
"The FDA 200 gives electronics OEMs efficient and economical power conversion in a compact, low profile package".
At 200W, the FDA family is ideal for industrial, digital video and data encryption applications where robustness and efficiency are critical.
The Ault FDA 200 is available in single-, dual- and triple-output versions.
There are 11 models in the family with various output voltage combinations.
To eliminate the need to select 110 or 220V modes, the FDA 200 features a universal input, further increasing OEM design flexibility.
The FDA 200 family is priced for OEMs in the mid-to-upper $80 range per unit (depending on number of outputs) in 1000-off quantities.
Ault also manufactures an equivalent 200W open-frame power supply with certifications to meet the stringent requirements of the medical device and equipment market segment.
