Timers and relays control industrial switching
Available now from Flightspares Electronics, part of the Compstock Group, is the full Agastat range of industrial, heavy-duty electromechanical and electronic timing, control and protective relays.
Developed from the ground up as surface-mount devices, rather than as modifications to existing leaded components, the PWC series is available in four standard sizes from 0805 to 2512 with respective power ratings from 125mW to 1.5W.
Each size features a resistance range from 1ohm to 10Mohm with tolerances from 0.5 to 5%.
The enhanced performance of the chips is made possible by the precise use of top-quality resistance inks and a closely controlled production process.
All devices are tested in accordance with IEC 60 115-1 using both 1.2/50 and 10/700us pulse shapes.
The limit of acceptance is a shift in resistance of less than 1% from the initial value.
The thick-film resistor material, overglaze and organic protection layer are screen printed on a 96% alumina substrate.
The wrap-around terminations have an electroplated nickel barrier and tin-lead solder coating to ensure excellent leach-resistance properties and a high degree of solderability.
Chips can withstand immersion in solder at 260C for 30s.
Standard operating temperature range is a wide -55 to +155C.
