Motorised impellers offer more options
Comair Rotron Europe has extended its range of Diplomat motorised impellers to offer even more options for customisation, suitable for a wide range of applications.
Leading air moving solutions company Comair Rotron Europe (CRE) has extended its range of Diplomat motorised impellers to offer even more options for customisation, suitable for a wide range of applications Diplomat motorised impellers are constructed using brushless, electronically commutated DC motors, which give excellent control while minimising electrical noise

Affordable cooling is a mythical beast
The Gryphon Range of axial fans is designed to offer high performance at an affordable price.
Impellers deliver high-pressure airflow
The high-pressure radial airflow of the Diplomat AC motorised impellers allows them to exhaust air at a 90 degree angle from the inlet.
They are less sensitive to dust and dirt than traditional axial fans and offer greater aerodynamic efficiency and reduced power losses, as the air is redirected through 90 degrees.
A number of features can be added, separately or collectively, to suit the application, which avoids unnecessary costs.
Options include TTL or open collector tachometer output, discrete alarms, harness assemblies, speed control and voltage regulation.
High-end performance can be fine-tuned using scrolls and optional inlet rings.
Sizes range from 102 to 280mm diameter, allowing free airflow of 2.8 to 31m3/min.
Operating voltages are 12, 24 and 48V DC, and the operating temperature range is -40 to +70C.
Ben Kane, CRE's Director of Engineering, comments: "The option to customise cost-effectively is a core element of our company philosophy".
"We aim to work with in-house design and engineering departments to produce a thermal management solution that matches their exact system requirements".
Applications suitable for motorised impellers include the pressurisation/ventilation of indoor/outdoor electronic cabinets, air to air heat exchangers, cabinet mounted air conditioning units, machine tools, HVAC filtration, in duct air movement and laser optic cooling.
