DIN rail assembly adapts PCB-mounting
relays
With the market trend moving away from the PCB and towards the standard enclosure, there is an increased need for DIN rail mounting of products initially designed for PCB applications.

30A switching in 22.5mm width package contactor
Crydom has introduced a new series of solid state contactors capable of switching loads up to 30Amps in a 22.5mm width package.
TVS diode protection protects relays as standard
In order to ensure that its range of Solid State Relays are protected from over voltage, Crydom International Ltd has introduced TVS diode protection on its range of SSR products.
A full range of Crydom PCB mount SSRs are available on the compact DIN rail assembly.
Connections are made through box terminals that will readily accept stripped wire ends and wire pin terminations.
At only 12mm width the MS11 also offers designers the opportunity to use smaller panels, enclosures and cabinets.
To further aid users, the MS11 is designed to be fitted to an industry standard TS35 DIN Rail.
The MS11 assembly package includes a full range of SSRs, catering for the switching of both AC or DC loads in a variety of applications such as control of motors, fans, solenoids, valves and high current contactors.
Options include AC or DC control with an input status LED on the DC control models.
AC SSRs can switch loads up to 5A at 240V, while the DC SSRs can switch loads of up to 10A at 200V DC.
Designers are always looking for products that allow them to benefit from better technology, savings in production time, and space.
Solid-state relays are recognised to offer many advantages to the world of industrial control over alternative electromechanical products.
The benefits of SSR technology include infinite lifetime, ability to operate in harsh environments regardless of orientation, no moving parts and high-power switching with a low signal input.
The flexibility of the MS11 rail assembly coupled with the advantages of SSR technology should give users of the product a positive advantage.
Crydom PCB products mounted on the MS11 DIN rail clip are available from the Crydom European distribution network and catalogue distributors.
