Crydom reckons its market-leading thermal-management technology gives the L series single-phase power semiconductor bridge distinct advantages over discrete assemblies.

As well as reducing the assembly line time involved in manufacturing power control circuits with individual components, the L series offers reduced space on a board, reduced components count, improved thermal performance and better reliability.

The module incorporates all the power semiconductor devices required for power control applications in a single package.

Suitable applications for the L series include a variety of phase control functions including the speed control of DC motors, such as treadmill drives in fitness machines.

It is also popular in many other AC to DC power conversation applications.

A number of popular configurations are available as standard.

These include complete single-phase bridges with free wheeling diodes as well as SCR "building blocks" for more complex circuits.

Voltage ratings are available up to 480V AC with load current ratings up to 42.5A DC.

All modules come with UL approval, and are manufactured in Crydom's ISO 9002 Certified facility for optimum product performance and reliability.
