The superior Crydom CR series are designed to be directly compatible with the industry standard 6.2mm wide plug in relay interface modules.

This combination enables engineers to select a superior switching solution in a narrow space saving DIN mount carrier with industry standard terminations.

The CR series includes models for switching DC loads of 24 or 60V DC, and AC loads of 240V AC, at up to 2A at up to 60C.

The commonly used DC control voltages of 24 and 60V DC are also catered for within this range.

All models feature galvanic isolation between input and output circuits and are rated at 2500V RMS.

Applications include control of inductive loads, such as pumps and valves, and resistive loads such as lamps and heaters.

In these types of applications the rate of switching is often high and mechanical relays can be prone to failure, delivering an unsatisfactory low MTBF.

The process will have to be interrupted while essential maintenance is carried out and the relay is replaced.

There are many processes where this is not only expensive but the interruption is simply not acceptable.
