The PATX3070 Pentium-class motherboard, now available from Crellon Microsystems, combines AGP graphics capability with a range of powerful interfaces.

The PATX3070 Pentium-class motherboard, now available from Crellon Microsystems, combines AGP graphics capability with powerful interfaces including Ultra II Wide SCSI, 10/100 Ethernet, dual USB, SuperI/O and optional RAIDport Processor options include Intel Pentium III up to 850MHz, or Intel Celeron up to 566MHz

Expansion capability includes four 168-pin DIMM sockets for up to 1Gbyte SDRAM, one 2x AGP slot, up to five 32bit/33MHz PCI slots and up to two ISA expansion slots.

The ATX format motherboard, produced by Motorola Computer Group, is based on the Intel 440BX chipset with support for 66/100MHz processor frontside bus.

The chipset's embedded AGP controller maximises bus bandwidth to the motherboard external interfaces, and optimises Pentium III Performance for 3D and video applications.

With additional performance advantages including dynamic execution, Intel MMXT technology and streaming SIMD extensions, the PATX3070 supports powerful applications including 3D and video design, data visualisation, web content creation, education and gaming.

Further connectivity features include a PCI to ISA bridge for legacy compatibility.

The SuperI/O interface comprises two asynchronous serial ports, parallel, FDD, PS/2 keyboard/mouse interface and IrDA pin header for wireless communications.

The motherboard also includes a 3.3V CompactFLASH type II socket, watchdog and interval timers and hardware monitoring features for CPU/system temperature, system voltage and fan speed.

The 60-pin RAIDport connector implementation allows the PATX3070 motherboard to have standard Wide Ultra SCSI channels, while being configurable or upgradeable to RAID compatibility depending on customer requirements.

The PATX3070 supports the standard motherboard I/O, with up to two RJ45 connectors for Ethernet, and hardware support for all SuperI/O interfaces.
