Embedded controller allows direct access to ATM
The Interphase 4531, available in the UK from Crellon Microsystems, allows system integrators to access the ATM backbone without requiring an external CSU/DSU.
Embedded motherboard configured for connectivity
The PATX3070 Pentium-class motherboard, now available from Crellon Microsystems, combines AGP graphics capability with a range of powerful interfaces.
The Adlink EBC-2000 series SBC is a network engine, combining Pentium-class computing power with extensive connectivity features to support routing, VPN, VoIP gateways, firewalls, QoS, load balancing, traffic and network management, or storage management including RAID, NAS and SAN.
It can also act as a remote platform for these functions.
Among the many connectivity features, the integrated on-board MiniPCI slot supports optional dual LAN connection, SCSI, security card, wireless LAN, or a user specific application card.
There is an extensive array of onboard connectors, allowing standalone deployment anywhere in the network.
These include three 10/100Mbit/s Ethernet LAN connectors, a bus master IDE controller, two EIDE interfaces that support up to four IDE devices such as hard disk drives and ATAPI CD-ROM drives, and up to two USB ports.
There are also on-board primary and secondary 40-pin IDE ports, as well as support for PIO mode 3/4 and Ultra DMA 33/66/100 IDE type devices.
The EBC-2000 series fits the 5.25in "CD-ROM size" form factor, and is available with Socket 370 Celeron, Pentium III or VIA C3 processors up to 133MHz front side bus (FSB).
There is also a 168-pin DIMM socket for up to 512Mbyte of unbuffered PC-133 SDRAM with ECC error correction to support server capability.
Built-in monitoring functions include temperature, voltage, fan speed and intrusion monitoring.
It is validated by HALT (highly accelerated life test) to ensure reliable operation up to 60C.
