Prior to joining Continuum, Braunstein was Director of North America Sales for Ikos Systems, where he lead a team selling in-circuit emulation and simulation acceleration products to design, verification, and test organizations at companies such as Lucent, Nortel, Alcatel and Intel.
During his five-year tenure, Ikos went from start-up to become the leading in-circuit emulation supplier in the USA with over $50 million in annual revenue.
Earlier in his career, Braunstein worked for a number of startup companies in areas such as speech recognition, optical character recognition, and electronic design automation software.
He has also held sales, sales management, and marketing management positions at Tektronix, Digital Equipment Corp, and Intel Corp, where he consistently exceeded sales goals both as an individual contributor and as a manager.
