CTL Components is now offering a "one stop shop" for the design and manufacture of custom enclosures and front panels.

In addition to precision sheet metalwork production, the company has facilities for painting, screen printing and mechanical assembly - all of which are carried out in-house to ensure that the highest levels of quality are maintained.

CTL's fine-tolerance fabrication processes can accommodate sheet metal up to 6mm thick, with parts up to 3m long, and batch sizes range from single prototypes to production runs of over one thousand pieces.

As well as having the capability to produce top-quality components for 19in racking systems, CTL can also manufacture Eurocard subracks and a variety of boxes, chassis and stand-alone cases.

All custom enclosures are available with a choice of finishes, including powder coating, wet painting and stove enamelling.

Fine-tolerance screen printing can be applied direct on to finished the metalwork, or, alternatively, a reverse-printed plastic sheet can be bonded to an exactly matching metal sheet, resulting in a finely detailed front panel that is both strong and impervious to scratching.

CTL's BS EN ISO9002 quality systems ensure that products are manufactured to a consistent standard, while computer-based production control and work-in-progress analysis help the company to achieve 100% on-time delivery.

Also available from CTL is a comprehensive range of associated products, including handles and front-panel components such as knobs, switches and LED indicators.
