New premises allow for expansion
UK fabless semiconductor company Cyan Technology is now able to build on its initial business success with a move to new premises and strengthening of its sales and applications teams.
UK fabless semiconductor company Cyan Technology is now able to build on its initial business success with a move to new premises and strengthening of its sales and applications teams.
Following the recent completion of a new round of funding, Cyan has moved into new premises in Swavesey, just outside Cambridge, England.
The sales team has already been expanded to provide greater coverage in the UK and Europe, and near term plans include increased penetration of the Asian Pacific region.
At the same time the design and applications team is being strengthened and the Company is actively recruiting engineers to its R and D and applications teams.
Paul Barwick, Cyan's Director of Sales and Marketing, said: "We have already secured a number of significant design wins for our eCOG1T microcontroller in applications areas including wireless CCTV, EPOS, asset tracking and low cost PDA.
Expanding our sales and support staff will enable us to maintain momentum and deliver on our business plan".
