One of the worlds leading manufacturers of video game peripherals, is to developing wireless video game products using Cypress's 2.4GHz WirelessUSB solutions.

Cypress's 2.4GHz technology will enable Saitek to standardise on a global technology platform, and remain on the cutting edge of the gaming peripherals market by providing users a higher bandwidth, highly reliable wireless gaming experience.

WirelessUSB solutions, consisting of Cypress Semiconductor's radio transceiver (CYWUSB6941) and baseband controller (CYWUSB6942), enable input devices with 2.4GHz Wireless human interface devices (HIDs) based on WirelessUSB balance a rich user experience with low cost and long battery life.

Gaming solutions featuring WirelessUSB technology enjoy full coverage in living rooms and support for up to seven active nodes with low latencies.
