The WirelessUSB LS Gamepad developers kit (CY3633), used in conjunction with Cypress's standard WirelessUSB development kit (CY3632), includes all the necessary connectors and firmware code needed to develop wireless game controllers quickly and easily.

Cypress's WirelessUSB LS Gamepad development kit turns one development board into a gamepad and the other into a receiver.

The kit provides code to implement bidirectional, wireless gaming support.

Enabling more than 100h of continuous play, less than 4ms of latency, and an operating range of up to 10m or more, WirelessUSB is designed to meet the most rigorous challenges of any gaming profile.

Operating in the 2.4GHz global ISM band, WirelessUSB LS also allows customers to deploy their solutions worldwide, while other technologies are limited by regional frequency requirements.

Early adopters of Cypress's WirelessUSB technology include Saitek, a leading manufacturer of video game peripherals.
