He added: "We are already in negotiations with key customers about joining the early engagement programme, but are still willing to talk with anyone else who may fit the criteria for participating in this programme".
ComMAX is a product line of flexible multimode OFDM/A baseband processors that enable service continuity between cellular and Mobile WiMAX (IEEE802.16e) networks.
Targeted at manufacturers of multimode mobile-WiMAX terminals, ComMAX processors provide a comprehensive mobile broadband solution with MIMO capability that can operate over multiple frequency bands, presents best-in-class performance and offers substantial cost and power-savings.
Last autumn the ComMAX product line was awarded "Best Chip Design" at the prestigious Best of WiMAX World Awards, which recognised leaders in the development and deployment of WiMAX technologies.
Comsys is exhibiting on Stand 2B73 in Hall 2 at the 3GSM World Congress.
