Designed to run from a single 5V power supply, the CPU-C3VE from DSL meets PC/104-Plus standards for full IBM-AT and PCI compatibility.
Simple to install, the e-Box 2300 operates on a low power supply and when integrated with a VESA mounted LCD screen, provides the user with all the facilities of a much bigger computer.
The VESA mounting fixture enables the eBox-2300 to be securely mounted almost anywhere big enough to accept the 115 x 115mm footprint, and connects directly to any sise LCD for mobile systems, presentations, promotions or electronic point of sale (EPOS).
One of the major advantages eBox-2300 has over laptops is its ability to be used with a large size LCD.
The eBox-2300 uses a standard 2.5in hard disk drive which can be implemented using the internal drive bay or, for more rugged applications, a CompactFlash Socket is provided.
Comms include 10/100 LAN and this is supported with optional wireless LAN.
Other features include three USB ports, two serial ports and a VGA output.
Operating comfortably over a 0 to +60C temperature range, the eBox-2300 measures just 115 x 115 x 35mm and weighs a mere 505g.
