Jacob van Houdt, Group CEO of Dataflex commented: "While we expect to see continued difficulties in our sector in the short term, we are confident that our strong emerging product portfolio, which addresses the needs of our customer base in growth areas such as broadband, and our expanded geographical reach, should begin to have a positive effect on our performance in the second half of the 2001/2002 financial year but this will depend on an improvement in external market conditions.
We have a healthy balance sheet with net cash of nearly GBP 20M to sustain the investment in our future".
