Feed-through couplings make cabling more
flexible
Datwyler Cables has announced the availability of Unilan RJ45 feed-through couplings.

Patch cords go round the bend
Datwyler Cables+Systems has expanded its range of standard patch cords for class D, E and F data networks.
For the installation of consolidation points or for cross-connect wiring Datwyler Cables offers a straight and a 90 degrees angled model of solid zinc diecast feed-through couplings.
Depending on the deployed panels or outlets, the new couplings provide on one side a Unilan MS module and on the other side a Unilan Keystone connector.
The fully screened couplings fulfil all national and international norm requirements for category 6 links (class E).
Many customers like trade fair organisations with changing site requirements and companies with open-plan offices, with a lot of internal moves, lay small patch panels into floor inserts or ceilings and build up consolidation point solutions with flexible cables.
Especially for these very flexible coupling solutions, Datwyler offers the RJ45 feed-through couplings, which integrate two different connectors in each coupling.
The straight design (180 degrees) is qualified for normal CP installations, and the 90 degree angled design for cramped installation conditions.
Both models fulfil the Cat 6 link requirements according ISO/IEC11801:2002, EN50173-1:2002 and EIA/TIA568-B.2-1.
Their screening complies to the norm requirements according EN50081-2, EN50082-2 and EN55022.
