Easy integration for data acquisition board
New from Data Translation, the DT3010-268 is a multifunction PCIbus data acquisition module offering a standard off-the-shelf SCSI-3 connector.
The DT9835 has 96 digital lines, 64 I/O and 32 input, grouped into twelve 8bit ports.
Eight ports are either input or output and four ports dedicated as inputs.
Digital outputs are capable of driving external solid-state relays.
The DT9835 board can generate an interrupt when any of the 16 digital I/O lines corresponding to ports 1 or 2 changes state.
This feature is ideal for monitoring critical signals or signaling the host computer to transfer data to or from the board.
The module comes with the Data Acquisition Omni CD, a free software bundle that gets users up and running quickly and allows them to create customised applications that best suit their needs.
The software bundle includes Quick DataAcq, a menu-driven, ready-to-run application; DataAcq SDK, a software development kit; TestPoint, an object-oriented, drag-and-drop software evaluation and run-time application; Scope instrument application; a VEE Pro 6.0 with MATLAB Script evaluation package; and 32bit Windows 98, 2000, and ME device drivers.
"This is our eighth plug-and-play product for the USB" said Nigel Doe, Data Translationûs UK Sales Manager.
"The DT9835 is a compact, USB-powered, rugged device that offers a simple solution for a variety of digital I/O applications".
The DT9835 is available immediately for GBP595.00.
