The Model 4200 tunable laser source offers 2000nm/s tuning over 150nm.

New from dBm Optics, the Model 4200 tunable laser source offers 2000nm/s tuning over 150nm A low-noise version is available for measurements requiring high dynamic range, such as the characterisation of fibre-Bragg gratings

A high-power version, with greater than 8dBm (6mW) of output power over the entire tuning range, is also available for applications requiring more power.

A variety of options, which can be built directly into the instrument, are available to turn the 4200 into a fully controlled and characterised optical source.

These options include wavelength reference, VOA and polarisation controller/scrambler.

The 4200 incorporates an easy-to-use colour touch screen, or operators can use all-button operation if they prefer.

A computer can easily be used to set and monitor parameters through Ethernet, USB and GPIB (IEEE488).

The 4200 tunable laser source has a delivery time of 10 weeks.
