CryptoCell includes a coprocessor intellectual property core, security infrastructure software, device applications and device agents designed specifically for the embedded environment.

Discretix' software solutions can be customised according to customers' needs and include among others, digital rights management agents, over the air device management clients, VPN clients, device antitheft solutions (secure SIM and IMEI blocking) and secure storage.

To obtain optimal security, applications are built over the Discretix' comprehensive security-infrastructure layer.

This layer includes PKCS#11, WTLS, SSL, WIM token, certificate handling and industry standard APIs.

The multilayered approach offered by CryptoCell enables manufacturers to rapidly integrate the security demanded by network operators for the latest mobile applications.

This is achieved with minimal impact on bills of material and without degrading handset responsiveness, a key factor in user satisfaction.

For carriers, CryptoCell ensures network and m-commerce integrity through user authentication, provides protection for content through DRM and enables sophisticated options for disabling handsets after loss or theft.

Users of handsets enabled by CryptoCell will benefit from faster response when using applications which depend on encryption.
