Graphics LCD is drop-in upgrade

Using a novel layout and enhanced electronics, the DV240x18-6613 is a fully programmable graphics LCD that is a drop-in replacement for standard 40 x 2 alphanumeric types.

Although commonly used in industrial instrumentation and control applications, a 40-character 2-line display is limited in the amount of information it can deliver by the character size and selection provided by the onboard controller As users demand more and more feedback, Densitron has come up with the answer - the DV240x18-6613

By redesigning the display layout and enhancing the electronics, this display is a drop-in replacement solution with a fully programmable graphic array.

With the same mechanical dimensions as a standard 40 x 2 character display, the DV240x18-6613 provides an instant upgrade to a full 240 x 18 dot matrix array with an onboard character generator.

The T6963 controller provides a full bit-map graphic control power supply function for the LCD and many other functions to ensure easy integration.

A 35cd/m2 LED array backlight is available as an option to enable operation in all lighting conditions.

Measuring just 182 x 40mm with a standard 16-way 0.1in DIL header, the DV240x18-6613 is easily integrated into both 6800 and 8080 style environments through the 8bit databus.

Operating off a single 5V DC supply, the display is designed to function in ambient temperatures of -20 to +70C and as such is perfectly suited to most commercial and industrial applications. Request a free brochure from Densitron Display Solutions ...
